Book Offer

I have co-authored a book titled “Give Stress a Rest.” It was a collaborative effort involving other trainers, speakers and consultants.  This book is packed with great information on relieving stress!  Included are tips on meditation (and balancing your chakras!), changing your thinking (my chapter!), and many ways to lighten up and add more fun to your life!

You Mean I Have a Choice?

Bill Shade

A Native American grandfather was talking to his grandson about how he felt. He said, “I feel as if I have two wolves fighting in my heart. One wolf is the vengeful, angry, violent one. The other wolf is the loving, compassionate one.” The grandson asked him, “Which wolf will win the fight in your heart?” The grandfather answered, “The one I FEED.”

So many times as I go through my daily life I have to make a choice of which wolf I will feed. I have to decide if I will have compassion for my co-workers, no matter their skill level, or if I will choose to tear their heads off for each and every transgression, no matter its size. I must decide how I will choose to react to my customers no matter how they choose to treat me. I also must choose which wolf I will feed at home with my wife and in our marriage.

Over the years I have found that these choices are not always easy and I sometimes make the wrong choice.  The important thing is that the choice is always, I repeat always, mine! Which wolf will you choose to feed today??

Face the Fear!

Suzie Dawson

I have been studying manifesting for quite some time now.  My interest in it has been to make my life easier and show others how to do the same.  Here are the steps taken from the Abraham-Hicks tapes (for information on the tapes, see below).  I have added a few things that I have noticed about how they work.

  1. You Ask.  This is the fun part; you simply ask for what it is you desire! A new partner, more money, a new job, new car…you get the picture.  All that is required for this step is to collect data.  That’s right, keep looking until you find what you want.

  2. The Universe Yields.  This means that the universe gives you what you are asking for.  The idea behind this is that we are all conscious creators and are constantly manifesting exactly what it is we think about.  That is why it is vitally important to think about what you want instead of what you don’t want!

  3. You Let it In.  This is the part where many people block what they are trying to manifest (including myself at times!).  There are many ways we do this (more about that in the next issue!).

Does this sound too easy!  It is, until we make it difficult.  Often times when we are so intent on wanting something, we push it away because our focus is on the “not having” of it.  Remember to focus on what you want.  Be light and have fun with this!  Life is your playground!

Dessert

The dessert pick for the week is the Abraham-Hicks tape series (especially tapes AB-2, AB-4, AB-5 and AB-12).  Abraham-Hicks teaches the Science of Deliberate Creation.  The message is so simple and loving.  I was so thrilled to learn that life doesn’t have to be so difficult!  If you are interested in learning more about Abraham-Hicks, visit their website at www.Abraham-Hicks.com.  Keep an open mind and these materials can absolutely change your life.
