Special Message from Suzie
I will keep including this offer as a reminder that I
am offering free life coaching by phone for the next 3 months to anyone who
is struggling to deal with events of September 11th and the repercussions
from it. As things continue to unfold, know that there is extra support
here, should you desire it. Give me a call at 210-402-5424 or send an email

“Give Stress a Rest”
I have co-authored a book titled “Give Stress a
Rest.” It was a collaborative effort involving other trainers, speakers and
consultants. This book is packed with great information on relieving stress,
including tips on meditation (and balancing your chakras!), changing your
thinking (my chapter!), and many ways to lighten up and add more fun to your
life! Cost is $20.00, plus $5.00 for tax plus shipping and handling. To
order, send me an email at
suzie@chrysalis-coaching.com.
This book makes a great gift for the loved one’s in your life!

"Whine" Selection
As a
Matter of Fact
Bill Shade
I was watching the sunset at work last night (we on
the staff call this “mental health benefits”- at no cost). I was on the
deck overlooking the ocean, and realized that something was very, very
different. I felt that I had been given a new set of glasses that had
suddenly made a great many things in my life much more clear! I thought to
myself how sudden and amazing the change was. Then I realized it was not
sudden…amazing yes, but sudden no!
I understood that the change had been evolving for the
past few years and that I was just now realizing what was taking place! Had
I known that getting older was going to be this much fun, I do not think I
would have fought it quite so hard! There is some real peace and joy that
comes with the maturation process and I must admit I am enjoying it
immensely.
I feel that it is important to understand that this
transformation is an inside job. As my outside world has changed a great
deal, most of these changes are not creating great moments of peace and
tranquility! What has changed is the way I choose to look at other’s
behavior. A very wise old friend told me many years ago and I quote, “Bill,
people do not do things to you, they simply do things!”
Now for years this made little or no sense to me! As I
walked my “victim walk” people were always doing things to me!! Poor tip-
must not like me, food over cooked- the chef was mad at me, slow night-
everyone stayed home because they knew I was working!! This thought process
was the norm. Then I began to get somewhat out of myself. I now understand
that I really had very little to do with the whole thing and most, if not
all, of other people’s actions had nothing to do with me!!
What freedom! Now I realize that the vast majority of
the time, people are not doing something to me. They are simply acting from
their own personal world! WOW, well now, as a matter of fact- I love being
free!

The Problem Isn’t Getting What You Want- It’s
Accepting It When It Comes!

Main Dish
You
Deserve It!

Last issue I wrote about the 3 steps to manifesting.
1.You Ask. 2. The Universe Yields. 3. You Let it
In. The first 2 steps are very simple and self-explanatory. The third step
is where many of us find the challenge. What I have discovered about the
“letting it in” part is that there are 3 things we need to do (or be) in
order for this to occur.
When you notice that what you desire is not coming to
you, check this list to see where you may be blocking it. Also, it is
important to remember to stay focused on what you want and not on what you
don’t want! Everything seems to come together when we feel good, get
present, and believe we deserve it!!

Dessert
The dessert pick for the week is the book “May the
Angels Be With You” by Gary Quinn. I have long been a believer in angels
and the powerful effect they can have on our lives. This is an excellent
book for anyone interested in getting a little extra guidance along the way
to fulfilling their dreams. We often forget there is so much help available
to us, if only we will ask.

Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to spread the word
and we will see you in two weeks.
