Less Work - More Play!

by Suzie Dawson

Last night I had a dream that I was working for this Hugh Hefner- like character who did nothing but delegate work to others. He spent most of his time relaxing and enjoy himself.  What a great life!  When I awoke, I thought, “this man has it all figured out!”

In the dream, “Heff” had three employees, including me.  The other two employees were being richly rewarded and hardly doing anything. They were given raises and told what a great job they were doing.  This did not happen for me.

I decided to approach “Heff” and ask why this was happening.  He told me that the other two individuals were doing what was expected of them, but that I was doing way too much.  He said it was not necessary to put forth so much effort because life is meant to experience and enjoy, not struggle through. When I awoke, I knew this was a clear message for me.  It is time for me to let go a little more and enjoy my life! Can anyone else relate to this?  Sometimes we push and push to makes things happen and all that is required is putting energy toward our goal and letting go.

I have decided that it is time for me to sit back and reap the rewards of all my hard work.  This does not mean I will do nothing.  I am going to try the new approach of being much easier about life. I will listen to and follow my inner guidance, then let go and let it in!

This week ask yourself what you could do to make life easier and flow more. Remember that when you let go, you allow the universe to provide! I have just implemented this and it is working wonders in my life! I will keep you posted.

Affirmation

Money flows easily to me as I do what I love to do!

*A note on affirmations….It is okay if you don’t really believe them.  But be open to the possibility that from a different viewpoint it could be true.  Pretend or imagine that it is true.  The effect is just the same!
