I had an interesting realization last week during a coaching session. My client was feeling challenged by the fact that she was ready to pursue her life purpose, but did not feel she could make a living at it yet. She also did not want to work a full time job because it would not allow her the freedom and energy to pursue her dream of becoming a life coach.

This is a common theme with individuals who are ready to make their dreams a reality. They want to do something different, but feel they cannot afford to quit their current job. Here lies the challenge. Do they quit their job in pursuit of something more fulfilling and trust that it will all work out? Or do they stay at a job that is sucking the life out of them leaving them with no extra energy for anything else? This is a question for your own inner guidance.

Since my client had followed her intuition and left her job, she had a very real need for additional money coming in. My suggestion was to put attention toward creating money every day during the week. I suggested that she be very deliberate about it. I advised her to start thinking "outside the box" and brainstorming on what she could do right now with the gifts she has to best serve and create money.

If you are stuck in a similar situation, I encourage you to do the same - think outside the box!! Start brainstorming and think of ways you can use the skills you currently have to create money. Don't be limited by the thought "I need more training." Expand out of that thought process for a minute and start considering other ways you could be earning money while doing what you love. If you allow yourself to go there, the possibilities are endless!

Too often I find people who feel stuck where they are, but they are not putting attention toward where they want to be. They are stuck in a rut with no energy to create anything new because they are too busy resisting what is. If this is you, it is time to change that!!
