Pouring

Dear Princess in Hull

It's pouring outside

And gray overall

Still my sex life is dull.

The owners are trying

To lease the restaurant

To the chef, the Bartender

And poor me

Am I buying

Into their ideas.

I'm learning from history

In class about Boston

New England and Samuel Adams

Is not just in bottles.

All cold tea

Let's party

My creative life is full

And I love to eat my food.

Still go for long walks

Alone too much is not good

Always starting downhill

Admiring the view

Yet uphill going home

I am thinking of you.

Those showers

Outside are pouring

Now at these hours

I still am waiting
